02 — A few useful details
Uses encodeURIComponent/decodeURIComponent for a single component, not an entire URL. A plus sign is not decoded as a space. Malformed percent sequences are rejected.
Use UTF-8 plain text, up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines per input.

Common questions
Should I encode a whole URL?
This tool encodes URL components such as a query parameter value. Colons and slashes are encoded too. To keep the structure of a URL intact, paste only the component you want to encode.
Which files can I import?
Paste plain text or import UTF-8 .txt files, up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines per input. PDF, Word documents and images are not supported directly; extract the plain text first. Text stays in the current tab's memory.
