Leading and trailing trimming affects spaces and tabs, not spaces between words. Blank-line cleanup keeps one blank line from each run. Line endings remain unchanged unless you select normalization.

Common questions
Does this remove spaces inside sentences?
No. Trimming only removes spaces and tabs at the selected line edges. Collapsing blank lines and normalizing line endings are separate options. Use it before comparing text copied from different sources.
Which files can I import?
Paste plain text or import UTF-8 .txt files, up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines per input. PDF, Word documents and images are not supported directly; extract the plain text first. Text stays in the current tab's memory.
