01 — How to use it

Give structured data some space.

  1. Paste valid JSON.
  2. Choose readable formatting or minification.
  3. Apply and copy the result.
02 — A few useful details

Formatting preserves numeric literals, key order, and duplicate keys. It does not validate a schema. Comments, trailing commas, and JavaScript object literals are not valid JSON.

Use UTF-8 plain text, up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines per input.

Common questions

Will formatting round large numbers?

The tool validates JSON syntax and formats the original tokens, preserving numeric literals and duplicate keys. It does not merge duplicate keys or repair invalid JSON.

Which files can I import?
